The Cabanon du Quartier n6 committee is made up of citizens involved in their community and interested in the development of food autonomy. The committee is headed by the Douglas Community Centre, which provides it with the space and official status of a community organization to help the project develop in a sustainable manner.
The committee’s mission is to offer residents of Gaspé district no. 6 access to motorized, specialized, mobile and professional horticultural equipment, with a view to fostering food self-sufficiency for local residents.
The committee’s service offer is to set up a rental service for motorized, specialized, mobile and professional horticultural tools to accelerate, facilitate or increase horticultural production for individuals or small businesses.
