By Car
Getting around the Gaspé coast is very simple. There is only one main highway that stretches along both side of the coast - Highway 132. It will lead you to all the towns and villages. If you are coming from Perce you will come across the Chimo Farm. You are now about 10 minutes away from the Douglas Community Center (and our Hostel)l. When you see the Douglastown church (it is very easy to spot because it's yellow) you have arrived. The Center and the Hostel are located directly behind the church. Either road that surrounds the church parking lots will lead you directly to the hostel.

If you are coming from the town of Gaspé it will take you about 15 minutes. Once you come to the Douglastown church make a right on either road surrounding the church parking lots.


By Bus
If you choose to come by the Baie-des-Chaleurs (the south side of the peninsula) just ask the driver to let you off at the Douglastown postal office.

If, however, you choose to come by the north coast the bus will stop at the bus terminal in downtown Gaspé. The taxi stand is just across the street (information of taxis can be found on the bottom of the page). For more information, please visit Orléans Express Bus company's web site.


By Train
Once you get off the train you will notice how close you are to downtown Gaspé. To come visit the hostel, just follow the directions in the "By Car" section. For more information, please visit VIA Rail web site.


By Plane
The airport is midway between the hostel and downtown Gaspé. Make a right onto Highway 132. Continue for about seven minutes and once you see the Douglastown church, make a right on either road that surrounds the church's parking lots. The Center and the hostel are right behind the church.
