Garden Seed Exchange

On Wednedsay April 5th from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm Bring your plant seeds of any kind to exchange with gardening enthusiasts in your community. Whether you have extra seeds of any plant variety, or some exotic varieties to share, this garden seed exchange is an ideal opportunity for you to vary your harvest and perhaps learn a few gardening tips!

Board Game Evening

On Sunday April 9th at 7:00 pm Get together for a board game evening. Come alone or bring a friend and your favorite games. This month we will provide: Dixit, Bang, Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride. A voluntary contribution would be appreciated. 2$ grilled cheese available.

Community Breakfast

On Sunday April 23rd from 8:00 to 10:30 am We welcome everyone to our monthly breakfast. Join friends and neighbors for an excellent breakfast with a traditional menu. A voluntary contribution of 7$ for adults (12 & over), 4$ for children (5-11 years) would be appreciated, ages 4 and under (free).

Happy Hour

On Friday April 28th at 5:00 pm The Community Centers’ Happy Hour is a great opportunity to get together with old friends or make new ones. Bring your refreshments and a dish to share. A voluntary contribution would be appreciated.

Volunteer Opportunity – Community Garden to Build Together
The board of directors is looking for a passionate and motivated volunteer to coordinate the development of a community garden in the Douglastown area. Please contact us if you’re interested!

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is sending an invitation for Sunday April 30th from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm, to all people interested in helping their cause. You are welcome if you are interested in knitting or crocheting mittens, socks, or hats for children ages 2 to 14; you don’t need to be a seamstress or knitter or anything of the sort, anybody that wants to help is welcome.

Line Dancing Class.

April 9th, 14th, 21st and 28th. 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Cost: 5$ per person. The teacher is Mrs. Olivia Rehel. For more information, contact Mrs. Beverley Vibert: 418-368-3003.
