St-Patrick’s Celebration with Live Irish music
Friday at 5 pm There will be a potluck supper, bring your favorite recipe (to share) the one that makes you want to have seconds! Bar service, Pit Caribou beer. Come celebrate St-Patrick’s day with live Irish music by Steve Boulay and Mathieu Fournier (music starts at at 6:00 pm) It’s time to let loose and celebrate our Irish roots! Slàinte!
Sunday from 8:00 – 10:30 am We welcome everyone to our monthly breakfast. Join friends and neighbors for an excellent breakfast with a traditional menu and a little side dish of corned beef hash to warm you up! A voluntary contribution of 7$ for adults (12 & over), 4$ for children (5-11 years) would be appreciated, ages 4 and under (free).
Board game Evening
Wednesday at 7:00 pm Get together for a board game evening. Come alone or bring a friend, and your favorite games. Some board games will be provided: Carcassonne, Risk 2210, Dominion and Loup-garou. A Voluntary contribution would be appreciated. Bring your favorite snacks. Have a fun evening!
Worm Composting Workshop
Saturday at 1 pm Learn to make a worm compost to produce high-quality compost year-round. Worm composting is a quick, odorless process that will diminish your quantity of household garbage. IMPORTANT: Register before March 17th. The cost for the worms and materials including a plastic bin is 20$. Cost with your plastic bin: 10$, you should bring 35L minimum capacity plastic storage bin with a cover. It’s easy and fun!

Travel talks will be held every second Wednesday at 7:30 pm at the center. Explore the following destinations in march…March 1st, Maryse Arsenault – Haïti: an enriching experience!, March 15th, Hélène Lebreux & Sylvain Vachon – From the Atlantic to the Pacific on a motorcycle and on March 29th Elaine Boutin and Charles Bachelard – On the summits of Equator. A neat way to travel around the world! Most travel talks will be in French. Everyone is welcome! Voluntary contribution. Your next vacation awaits you…
Summer day camp Annual General Meeting
On Wednesday March 15th at 7:00 pm, the summer day camp will be holding the their annual general meeting at the Trachy Hall, short and sweet, no obligations, just an overview of the financials and last summer’s activities. We would like to hear your ideas, opinions and suggestions. Everyone is welcome!
On Sunday March 26th at 1 pm, the Shamrock Golden Age Club invites members and friends to a money bingo which will be held at the Trachy Hall. Admission is 10$ for 9 full cards. Extra cards available. There will be a 50/50 draw and canteen. 18 years and over.
